About Me

Hi, I'm Wendy. I live a quiet small town life. I love to paint, collage, paper craft and more. Lately I am paper weaving and making little folded books. Thereā€™s always something new to try! I also write a LOT- journaling, letters, postcards (I am nearing 9,000 postcards sent and received through Postcrossing alone. I also like to write stories and poems.

I like to read Melody Carlson and Julie Klassen in fiction. I also like nonfiction about NDEs (near death experiences) and books about the human brain.

I love to do Bible Studies, in my church and on Swapbot! I enjoy reading books about women of the Bible. I am a Christian and I have studied Eastern Religion.

I donā€™t have pets at this time but I do love animals. I adore cats, dogs, birds and horses!

Mail, Tea and More

I enjoy preparing and sending mail- considering what the recipient likes. I appreciate receiving things that are in my A-Z list (below). I read otherā€™s lists on their profile if they post one.

šŸ«– I like to drink teas while reading, creating and watching movies. My favorite teas are Rooibos and Solomonā€™s Seal. Not too fond of mint teas but I enjoy citrus or fruity teas. The main thing is that my tea has to be caffeine free. I also love decaf coffee!

I love Sanrio! I like the Hello Kitty character, the My Melody character and the Cinnamoroll character the most. I am also kinda nuts about Squishmallows!

Comment: Great swap items! I used to backpack too. Yes, we mustnā€™t feed the wildlife as some are prone to do; God feeds them just fine. Eep, Iā€™m not sure Iā€™d want to get too close to a skunk.
