I only want to preface this so it doesn't get lost in the text... please do not send postcard in an envelope or tchotchke with the postcard... just the postcard written and stamped makes me happy.

I just also want to mention that I hope that you all dont rate others on a stupid postmark.... for real???? Postmarks are not always an accurate way of detecting if a card is late and sometimes, 6 out of 10 times, A postcard I receive doesnt even have a postmark. Please look at the date that your partner sent the card that is a better indicator. Thank you....jussayin.

My name is Diane and I live in Anoka MN. l am a native born Jersey girl my heart will always be there.... I have also lived in Kenosha Wisconsin aka Ken-nowhere, Wish-there-was-something to do-in, as locals call it. I hated it there with a passion. I love Anoka 11 months out of the year as it is called the Halloween capital of the world and celebrates this dumb day all month long with a lot of parades and other nonsense; but November-September I love it here.

One of my hobbies is crocheting amigurumi but I have slowed that down to a near stop due to my arthritis in my neck and shoulders. I have decided to get rid of all of by yarn, hooks and books. I am hanging up my hook now.

I love watching Hulu, and Paramount plus, tv series and movies are one of my winter escapes. I love to organize things and big projects are my favorite, I am always up for the challenge. I am always looking for a new hobby if you have any suggestions my only requirements are that I can do this indoors and it does not cost an arm and a leg.

I am an arm chair detective and I love binge watching all true crime shows. I find myself yelling at the tv when the cops are being stupid or not seeing the obvious. I know, I missed my calling.

What is your plan to do with all of your postcards if your children do not want them?

I love large projects and I have to plan my winters and keep busy I love projects and hate being bored.

I have been collecting postcards since October 2013 when I got started in Postcrossing. com group. I remember being so excited to get my first postcard...and it came all the way from TEXAS ( I really thought it was going to come from overseas.)

I believe that postcards should be sent written and stamped only; that is the way the were intended to be sent.

I DO NOT LIKE HOMEMADE cards so please please please do not send me one and keep them for those swaps that are for that type.

ALL real postcards will get a heart; I don't collect certain themes and I like all real postcards. I only ask that it is NOT distasteful, questionable, grotesque or clowns. Thank you.
